How Much Does a Private Boat Charter Cost in Belize? A Straight Answer

Most charter operators in Belize make you ask before you get a number, and the range you hear back can vary wildly depending on who you talk to. Here is a straight, tour-by-tour breakdown of what a private charter costs with Rene’s Adventures out of San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, and what that price actually covers.

The pricing model

Every charter is private — it is your boat and your group, not a shared seat on someone else's schedule. Prices are all-inclusive: fuel, gear, ice, drinks, and licenses are built into the posted rate rather than added on afterward. Each tour is priced for up to 4 guests included, with additional guests at $75 per person up to a maximum of 8 total.

Tour-by-tour pricing

• Deep Sea Fishing — $600 half day (4 hours), $900 full day (8 hours)
• Reef Fishing — $400 half day (4 hours), $600 full day (8 hours)
• Secret Beach — $400 half day (4 hours), $600 full day (8 hours)
• Custom Charter (Rene's Custom Adventures) — $400 half day (4 hours), $675 full day (8 hours)
• Sunset Cruise — $350 for a 2.5-hour cruise
• Great Blue Hole — by inquiry only; distance and weather windows mean this one is quoted per trip, not posted as a flat rate

Why some tours are quoted, not listed

The Blue Hole is the one exception to a posted price. It is a long, weather-dependent run to Lighthouse Reef, and the right call on any given week depends on conditions on the water that day — so it is planned by direct message rather than instant checkout, to make sure the day actually happens the way it should.

Getting an exact quote

Group size, tour choice, and half day versus full day are what move the number from there. Message on WhatsApp with your dates and group size and you will get a straight quote back — no upsell script, just what it actually costs for your day on the water.
